First of all, I would like to express my cordial congratulations on the auspicious occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the KOSEN education in Japan. I am delighted to learn that the KOSEN education has contributed effectually to build strong industrial foundation in Japan since 1960s. The well-established KOSEN education has proven through time to lay strong base for producing practical and innovative engineers who have transformed the robust Japanese industries as “Social Doctors”. Therefore, KOSEN education is the testimony to assure the success of Japanese economy ever since.

In light of the transferring of such valuable KOSEN experiences and know-how from the National Colleges of Technology from Japan to Thailand, the Royal Thai Government has established two Thai KOSEN Institutes in 2019 and 2020 respectively. During the few years of implementation of the KOSEN study program at the two Thai KOSEN Institutes has demonstrated that we have come to the right direction in producing well-disciplined, practical and modern engineering students that will eventually serve to enhance competitiveness of modern Thai industries that will result in the well-being of the future Thai economy.

Let me conclude by extending my best and earnest wishes to all the successes and progresses of the KOSEN education both in Japan and overseas.
